Environmental sustainability and overall integrity also remain important in addressing inequality. The activities of the Women’s Resource Centre are a powerful force for change. Therefore, its members often organise rallies and events to achieve the implementation of desired programmes. One of these projects is the London Black Women’s Project. Its history has been going on for more than 30 years. During this period, it helped approximately 2,000 women and 1,000 children in shelters. The organisation also pays great attention to the problem of domestic violence. Unfortunately, even in the modern world, there are frequent cases when a woman who has become a victim of violence is subjected to additional moral humiliation during the legal process. Thus, women suffer from repeated psychological trauma. The Women’s Resource Centre has often conducted research on this issue. They have helped to develop certain steps to help women, as well as to present statistical data at important international briefings and conferences.
