The Sorority is one of the most interesting societies created to support and develop women in many areas of life. It is a unique space for communication and the exchange of ideas without stereotypical restrictions and attempts to hide one’s individuality. For more than ten years, representatives of business, art, film industry and many other fields have been sharing their experiences and creating new original projects within the group. Another aim of the society is to showcase successful role models. The members of The Sorority have repeatedly proven that every woman is capable of taking care of her physical and mental health.
The society brings together women of all ages, professions and races. The future members are chosen taking into account their previous experience, achievements and the prospect of further contribution to the development of society. Since The Sorority is a global network, you can get its membership by invitation only. First, you should submit an application, in which each woman can tell her own unique story. If the representatives of the community decide to involve the newcomer in its activities, the new member pays the entrance fee. In addition, all members of the society pay annual membership. There is also a unique initiation tradition of giving newcomers an original handmade silver badge. It is a symbol of belonging to the society. Members of The Sorority enjoy many benefits. In particular, some of the most important opportunities are society’s influential social networks, coworking space as well as participation in numerous activities aimed at achieving professional development and general well-being. The society participates in the implementation of many projects related to the role of women in modern society. It holds various seminars, lectures, mentoring meetings, conferences and many other interesting events. For example, there was a meeting of community mentors in March 2024. Moreover, even those who weren’t members of the society could attend the event. Representatives of The Sorority are also involved in the creation of more global projects. Thus, in 2018, Portcullis House hosted the 209 Women exhibition, dedicated to the history of the struggle for women’s suffrage. The society became an official partner of this event.
