Bala Baya, set under the Old Union Yard Arches, brings the Eastern Mediterranean to Bankside. The first project of chef Eran Tibi, it is a bi-level, Tel Aviv-style eatery with a Bauhaus-inspired, kaleidoscopic space.

The Space
Set beneath brick railway arches, the bi-level room recreates a slice of Tel Aviv’s modernist White City — bright, sun-drenched and modern, with a mezzanine screened by the perforated breeze-blocks you find in Israeli gardens. Burnt-orange accents and warm light keep the airy, pared-back space feeling relaxed and buzzy at once.
